The following office-bearers were elected at the annual meeting of the Thorndon Cricket Club : —President, Mr. j. P.. Luke, M.P.; vice-presidents, Rev. A. M. Johnson, Messrs. H. J. . Buck, B. L. Salmon, J. E. Fitzgerald, E. Hendry, C. Stewart, W. Preedy, H. L. Godber, Pv. H- Davenport; hoh. secretary and treasurer, Mr. Boy Johnson ; secretary, Boys' League teams, Mr. _C. Stanton; delegate to Wellington Cricket League, Mr. B. L.. Salmon, delegates to Boys' League, Messrs. Buck and Salmon; Management Committee, Messrs J. W. Humphries, 1?. Laurenson, F. P. Monk, T. Plant and G. Roberts; hon. auditor. Mr. T. Fitzgerald. Practice will be held on Anderson Park, commencing when the ground is available, probably next Saturday. Teams -will be entered for the junior competition of the Wellington Cricket Association and _in • the • Senior and Junior Boys' Cricket League.
