LONDON, 26th September. The British invasion of Bulgaria shows that the troops forced their way into the Strumnitza plain through a break in the mountains between the Belas-, hitza and the^Plaush ranges,. where there is a pass 2000 ft high (traversed by the Salonika-Doiran-Strumnitza road). Serbian military experts in London describe it as a magnificent feat of arms. The -British are within five miles of Strumnitza, and the way seems open to an advance into the heart of Bulgaria.
