VICTIMS OF THE U-BOAT
ESCORTED SHIPS SUNK,
(Received August 15, I p.m.)
PATHS, 14th August. Tho steamer Djemnah (3716 tons) was sunk on 14th July. The Australian was torpedoed on tho 19th, and foundered after being burnt. Seventeen of the crew were killed, and three passengers are missing; 948 people were saved. Both the Djemnah and the Australien were convoyed. Another ship was torperkted with the Aujstralien, but was not sunk.
