FRENCH COMMUNIQUES
LONDON, 9th August. A French communique states : Enemy raids in the Champagne, in the regions of Pro«ne3, Mont Sans Norn, and Souain were repluscd.
A French official communique states: Our troops, which are co-operating on the right of the British, pursued their successes last evening. During tho night we made progress east of Arvillers, and captured Ravenscourt. Attacking south of Montdidier, between Ayencourt and Le Fresnoy, we took Rubescourt and Asaainvillers, and reached Faverolles. Our lossbs, like the British, were particularly light. On the Vesle the Americans captured Fismette.
