THE BATTLE SPREADING NORTH
LONDON; 10th August. The Pall Mall Gazette states that the Picardy battle is spreading northward to Arraa. The Canadians and Australians have captured Bourchoiiy Mericourt, Lihons, Raineoourt., and Proyart. Yon Hutier's army h retreating from the Montdidier-Noyon hne. A German divisional headquarters staff was captured.
