"ELIJAH."

This is the last year that Mr. Robert Parker is to figure as a conductor of musical performances in Wellington, and the musical people, through the medium of the Choral Union, are to tender him a complimentary concert at the Town Hall on Wednesday next, when Mendelsshon's "Elijah" will be sung. An exceptionally fine cast of soloists has been secured for this fine oratorio. Madame Bella Russell, of Auckland, will be the soprano, Miss Mina Caldow the conWSlto, Mr. Martin Duff the tenor, and Mr. John Prouse the bass. The box plan can be inspected at the Bristol. The final rehearsal will be held in the Town Hall at 7.30 this evening.
