RIOT AT BRUSSELS
GREEDY GERMAN OFFICERS.
(ADSTBAUAN-NSW, ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received July 15, 9 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, 13th July. A serious riot occurred at Brussels owing to German officers requisitioning for their own use all the vegetables in the Brussels market. The peasants protested, and the officers called up soldiers and five peasants were shot and thirteen wounded.
