THE ROMANOFF MURDERS
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) / , LONDON, 13th July. A Petrograd paper publishes a letter from the ex-Tsar contradicting the reported muTdei' of himself. He states that bandits attempted to assassinate the whole family, but the bravery of a commissary frustrated the outrage. The incident has seriously impaired the ex-Tsar's health.
