"MY FOUR YEARS IN GERMANY "

What does the German menace really mean? Or, rather, what does the menace of Prussian autocracy really mean ? A new and strong light was thrown on the question by the publication in Ajnerica of Ambassador James W. Gerard's startling book, "My Four Years in Germany," and a much stronger light-has since been thrown on it by the fact that the book has been screened. As a moving picture it is a sheer revelation, and certainly puts all previous pictures enitirely in the shade. The producers of the picture have performed an invaluable service to mankind, and if anyone has the least shadow of doubt in his mind as to who is responsible for the war; he should see this picture. The National Exhibitors of America, who control the film, have specially secured the King's Theatre for the purpose of showing "My Four Years in Germany" in Wellington.

The English Pierrotß concluded a most successful season of eight and a-half -weeks at the. Concert' Chamber, Town Hall, on Saturday evening, before a .packed and delighted audience, which •gave the; bright little company the heartiest of farewells. The Pierrots will ■return for a short season to the Concert Chamber, and will later sail for Perth, ■where they are to spend the summer ■months. , . ;
