MATAURA RIVER RISING
GORE, This Day. The Mataura- River .reached its maximum height about noon to-day. > The flood water has'not yet got into the town to any extent, and no damage has been done. The river required to rise another six inches to a foot before there would be a. repetition of last 7 year's flood.
