There is a growing demand everywhere that the Government should insist on heavy indemnities from she Allies, especially from Britain. The Germans are content that the Ukraine's payment should be in foodstuffs and materials, but the Allies must pay in. cash in order to relieve immediately Germany's critical financial position.
