Alibe Joyce was, seen in a Greater Vitagraph triumph, "An Alabaster Box," at the Empress to-day. The story tells of Lydia Bolton, who is only a child when financial difficulties overtake her father. His friends give him no support, and he goes to 'prison, an em--beraler, cursed by everyone. Years after, when Lydia has grown to womanhood, she comes back, her identity hidden in the name of Lydia Orr. and from then on the story develops in an exceptionally interesting manner.
