SENIOR BOYS' GAMES.
In the senior grade game Thorndon beat St. Cuthbert's by nine wickets. Thorndon -made 57 (Dunne 18, Bramley 10), and 25 for one wicket (Morgan, not out, 10). St. Cuthbert's made 24 and 53 (Bolt 29). Freeman (five for 8), Bramley (five for 6 and two for 23), and Dalrymple (five for 13, and two for 21) shared the wickets for Thorndon, while' Turvey (seven for 11) did well for Cuthbert's. Boys' Institute A team (84) beat Boys' Institute B team (28 and 12)" by an 'innings and 14 runs. H. Prince (40) batted well for A, and he took eight wickets for 7 runs, L. Smith taking nine for 16. Boys' Institute C team beat Kilbirnie by 4 runs. Details : Institute 45 and 61 (Osborne 17. Hart 12, Newman 14). Kilbirnie 44 and 58 (Lang 18, Rowe 13, Donnelly l' 2). JUNIOR BOYS A GRADE. St. Cuthbert's beat V.M.C.A. by an mrnngs and 19 runs. St. Cuthbert's made 9S (Hester 32. Warwick 25. Bradshaw 19), Wl cl V.M.C.A. 42 and 37. For St. Cuthbert's Hester took seven wickets for 14 and Reeve seven'for 50.

St' 1 atncks College won by 63 runs Boys' Institute F team beat Brooklyn by an innings and 28 runs. Institute 65 runs (C. Ferris 30, B. Whitburn 10). Brooklyn 21 and 16. Bowling for Institute o. Ferris performed the hat trick, and almost- repeated the performance by taking three wickets with four balls. THIRD GRADE.
