-Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale at the Upper Hutt on Thursday, when there was a. large attendance of local and outside buyers. A good entry of cattle was yarded, a total clearance being made under the hammer at most satisfactory . prices. They quote :" Twoyear steers £10 to £10 19s, empty store cowe £6 to £7 10s, empty forward cows £8 11s to £9 6s, empty heifers £5 15s to £9, yearling bulls £4 Is to £6, twoyear bulls to £10 12s 6d, m.s. weaners to £3 12s 6d, yearling heifers to £5, cows in milk to £12, springing cows £10 to £11 10s, springing heifers £8 to £11 17s 6d.
