NEGOTIATIONS WITH IMPERIAL BOARD OF TRADE.

The Prime Minister, replying to a question by Mr. A. Walker (Dunedin North) states that negotiations are still going on with the Imperial Board of Trade and the Food Controller in England with regard to taking over the output of butter from New Zealand for the season just commenced, and until t%e matter is settled one way or the other no further statement can be made.
