In connection with the charges against two railway employees of attempting to defraud Henry Martindale, of £975, there have been somewhat sentional developments. It is understood that certain well-known business people in Wellington are implicated, and are being served with summonses charging them with false pretences. No definite date has yet been fixed for the hearing of the case, which is expected to present some unusually interesting features.
