RETURNED SOLDIERS
The Hon. Sir James Allen (Minister of Defence) states that up to the present 10,517 soldiers have returned from the front. Those discharged number 9265, while 1244 have returned to duty, 48 have died, 119 cases are under consideration, and 216 are under treatment. Nineteen are on special leave, 1 h»ve deserted, and 2 are in prison.
