MB. HENDERSON SEEKS CONFIRMATION
LONDON, 15th August.
Mr. Henderson intends on Tuesday to ask the Labour Conference to reaffirm the resolution in favour of sending a delegation to the Stockholm Conferenco.
(Received August 17, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, 16th August. The South Wales Miners' Federation supports the Labour executive, and has endorsed its application for passports. CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD (Received August 17, 8.30 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, 16th August. M. Huysmans states that the Conference will be held. The only question was 1 whether it should be deferred until the Allies' Socialist Conference was concluded, or commence a Conference representing the neutrals, the Central Powers, and Russia. M. Huysmans believes that those Governments which refuse passports will perish before the Conference. RUSSIAN DELEGATES IGNORED IN ITALY (Received August 17, 8.30 a.m.) ROME, 16th August. _ The four Russian Soldier delegates who were recently in London and Paris are now in Italy. They have been ignored by the Government and people.
