There was no labour available this afternoon for loading and unloading certain vessels in Wellington, in consequence of members of the Waterside Workers' Union attending the funeral of Mr. Robert Henderson, of the hulk Lutterworth, who died from shock after falling into the harbour on Monday night. It is expected that the men will resume work at 6 p.m. The cortege was headed by the Waterside Workers' Band. The Rev. H. Watson conducted the service at the graveside.
Messrs. Harcourt and Co. will offer at their rooms, 195, Lambton-quay, to-mor-row, a largo catalogue of books.
To-morrow, at 1 p.m., at the Fruit Exchange, Blair-street, Messrs. Griffiths and Co., Ltd., will sell trees, plants, and shrubs, on behalf of Mr. A. M'Millan.
