AN ASSAULT CASE
' A somewhat uiiwholesomn /state of affairs' was detailed in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when* William ■ Charles Aubrey was charged with assaulting. Bello Grahuin by striking her on the face with a bottle. It was shown in the evidence thai, the assault arose out of a'quarrel in ■a room at a, private hotel, where the pair were living together. The accused, for wbwn Mr. P. Wi Jackson npp«fl.rs*) t was sentenced to one .month's imprisonment .
