4!A wharf labourer named Harrtjr Richatdson was charged-in.the Magistrate's CmiTi to-day'with' theft of two shirts, ■Valued at 10s, the property of the Red Cross Society of, New Zealand. The accused was employed at the time on a •vessel in port and took the shirts,-which were'consigned to soldiers at the front. Tti 'retilv-'to accused's plea for. leniency, air, W. G.
