DIRTY MILK

A light fine of 20s, with 17s 6d costs, was imposed, on Rosa Magill, Uplandroad, Kelburh, at the Magistrate's Court to-day, on a charge of exposing dirty milk'for sale. Mr. H.. E. Anderson appeared for the defendant, whom he described as particularly careful. The milk was sold to the inspector as she had received it from a supplier. Mr. P. S. K. Macassey, on behalf of the Health Department, said it was a fact that the milk had been purchased from the Wellington Dairy Company and sold as delivered. Mr. S. E. . M'Carthy,. S.M., said it wae not a case for a heavy fine.
