CHRISTCHURCH, 30th May. At the Addington market there was a far smaller entry of fat lambs and fat sheep than at the previous week's sale, but the entry of fat cattle and store sheep was a good one, and the demand was brisk, th© bulk of the store sheep being in good forward condition.

Store Sheep.—Two-tooth ewes, 23s 9d to 30s 6d; four and six-tooth ewes, to 355; six and eight-tooth ewes, 34s ; soundmouthed ewes, 33s 7d; four and six tooth wethers. 27s Id to 36s 2d; six and eight-tooth wethers, 28s 3d; merino wethers, 27s 9d; wether lambs ; 20s 3d; ewe- lambs, 27s 4d,

Fat Lambs.—Extra prime, to 33s 3d ; prime, 27s to 30s lid; medium, 24s 4d to 26s lOd; lighter, 19s to 235.

Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers, to 48s 3d; prime, 32s to 40s, lighter, 28s Id to 30s 7d; merinos. 21s 6d; ewes, extra, to 40s 3d; prime,"34s Id to 37s 8d; medium, 30s to 33s Id; lighter. 23s to 28s 7dj merinos, 15s.

Fat Cattle.—Extra prime steers, to £24 10s; prime steers, £14 5s to £20 10s; ordinary steers, £12 15s to £14; prime heifers, £10 5s to £14 2s 6d; ordinary heifers, £8 to £10; prime cows, £10 10s to £14 17s 6d; ordinary heifers, £8 to £10.

Store Cattle.—Fifteen-months, £3 ss; two and a-half year heifers, £6 .10s; three-year steers, £6 10s to £9; dry cows, £3 10s to £7 10s; vealers, 15s to £5 15s; good dairy cows, to £20 5s ; medium, £12 to £15; poorer, from £5 2s 6d. ■

Fat Pigs.—-Choppers, £4 to £7; extra heavy baconers, to £5 ss; heavy baconers, £4 7s to £4 15s; lighter baconers, £3 12s to £4 (equal, to 7|d per lb); heavy porkers, 52s to 60s; lighter porkers, 44s to 50s (equal to B£d to 9d per lb).
