SENTIMENTS IN THE REICHSTAG.

(AUSTRAMAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLB .ASSOCIATION.)

(Received May 11, 2 p.m.)

LONDON, 10th May.

Speaking in the Reichstag, a Conservative member declared that the German fleet was longing to meet the British, who in spite of denials knew that the Battle of the Skagerrack (Jutland) was the first defeat the British Navy had suffered for centuries.

A National Liberal member said that Britain's dominion of the seas was now shaken for ever. The British fleet dared not' come out.
