RETURNED SOLDIER'S DEATH
(»I TELEORAPD.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 3rd May. A returned soldier, Bugler William Boyd, died in hospital after a long illness. Bugler ■ Boyd was a member of the Main Body of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. He was wounded in the hand at the Gallipoli landing. Later, he returned tc the ■ peninsula, and received' shrapnel wounds which necessitated his return to New Zealand in February, 1916. His father resides at North Sydney.
