PAN-GERMAN SCHEME
HEADED BY REVENTLOW [AND THE CROWN PRINCE.
. LONDON, 23rd April. The Pan-Germans, headed by Count Reventlow and backed by the' Crown Prince, are fiercely assailing the Government's attempts at negotiating a peacfl with, Russia, fearing * that the elimination' of the Russian danger will weaken, the war spirit, and lead to a. peace without victory. The Pan •Germans have bought a syndicate of newspapers in order to advertise -the, Crown Prince, whilst attacking the * Kaiser. Count Reventlow asserts that a peace, based on pre-war conditions, with an. indemnity, would ruin German and Aus-tria-Hungary. t
