MILK SUPPLY CONTRACT

A special case stated for the Full Bench was partly heard at the Supreme Court last week, before .their Honours the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout), Mr. Justice Chapman^ and Mr. Justice Cooper. The parties were Cole, Crump, and Gundy, and the Wellington Dairy Fanners' Co-operative Association, Ltd., .and an interpretation was asked' of an agreement entered into between the two parties in regard to the supply of milk by the latter to Cole, Crump, and Cundy, who alleged that the compact was not fully carried out. The association, however, contended that Cole, Crump, and Cundy could not recover because a change was made in the constitution of the latter firm's partnership. : Mr. C. P. Skerrett, K.C., with Mr. R. C. Kirk, i« appearing for the association, land Mr. M. Myers for Cole, /Crump, and Cundy. Argument was adjourned until tomorrow.
