THE CHILDREN'S APPEAL
to the smion. , Sir,— My deep admiration for, your correspondent "E. M. Story," whose" appeal for the little ones appeared m your iSsue of the 17th inst.s is beyond expression. A iioble appeal! Are we New Zealanders going to ignore that appeal? I would not insult ray countrymen by doubting them. - New Zealanders" rallied to the Empire's call. Is it likely they will fail to respond to the appeal of humanity? I sincerely hope that the .potent, powers of the Evening Post will be enlisted on behalf of"ydur ■correspondent's noble endeavour.—l am, 6tC -' ' ' L.N.-T.
