A paragraph copied from the Auckland Star, recently stated that Bombardier Charles Miirray, who hats returned invalided from France,- wa-s holder of the ten-mile running championship of Ne\v Zealand. Bombardier Murray, who is at present in Wellington, disclaims this athletic distinction. Plans are now being prepared for the proposed returned soldiers' club in Masterton, and a contract will shortly be let for the work.
