SERIOUS SHORTAGE AT A
HOSPITAL

HAMILTON, 12th April,
At a meeting of the Waikato Hospital and Charitable Aid Board to-day, the engineer reported a serious shortage of. coal supplies, and that the whole power plant was in danger of being stopped on account of such shortage. Fifteen tons of coal, per week were necessary during winter. The board resolved to communicate with the Minister in the matter, and that in the meantime labour be put on to secure firewood. .. , i
