(Received April 13, 8.40 a.m.)
AMSTERDAM, 12th April.
The disclosures at the third trial of Dr. Kranz are causing popular unrest, also indignation, and discontent in financial circles. When the Hungarian Parliament reassembles it will discuss the trial, and also suffrage reform..
The Vossische Zeitung's correspondent at Vienna states that Austria's political atmosphere, created by past absolutism, needs a thorough cleansing.
[Dr. Kranz has already been heavily fined for corruption and peculation of army stores. Public confidence' has been shaken also by the arrest of five Prague, bankers on a charge of treason. Prince Odescalohi committed suicide in order to avoid prosecution on charges of corruption.]
