A memorial service in honour of the fallen soldiers will bo held in the Wesley Church, Taranaki-street, to-morrow, at 3 p.iru This will be conducted by the new president (Rev F. W. Sinclair), assisted by the chaplains to the forces. The address will be delivered by the Rev. P. W. Fairclough.

Given lino weather this showj which is the sixth promoted by the association, will bo the finest exhibition of stock over seen in the district. Tho Main Trunk ram. fair will be held on tho following day.

To-morrow is to be observed as a day of universal prayer on behalf" of tho Students' .Christian Movement. This movement has been the means of inspiring students with a dosiro to devote their talents to purposes that wilL serve their country, their follow citizens, and tho people of other lands where civilisation haß not yet fully dawned. In Wellington the annual special service will be held in the evening at St. Andrew's Church. In most of tho other churches of the city, special prayers will bo offered for tho work of tho movement, and at 8.30 p.m., a short meeting for all students will be held in St. Andrew's Schoolroom.

Owing to an urgent call out of town, Mr. P. 0. O'Regan will bo unaßlo to speak at (ho Alexandra Hall on Sunday evening. Mr. B. M'Donakl will take his plaeu.

In the Salvation Army Citadel, Vivianstreet, to-morrow, special harvest thanksgiving services will be held. Gifts have been promised in considerable quantity by members oE the Army and friends, and an excellent display is expected. Lieutenant-Colonel M'lnnes, .. the Chief Secretary of tho Salvation Army, will be in charge of the services.
