"OUR DAY" FUND

TOTAL OF £19,364 5s 6d.

A statement prepared by the hon. treasurer of "Our Day" Fund (Mr. James M'lntosh) shows that the total amount received as the result of public subscriptions, entertainments, etc., was £13,048 2s 2d, which, after deducting the expenditure, leaves the sum of £12,770 to be handed over to the' trustees of the British Red Cross Society and Order of St. John. In' addition to 'this amount, the sum of £1977 0s 5d was paid direct to the Department of Internal Affairs,, and £4617 was sent to Lonodn by the Sisbome Red Cross Society, making the total net proceeds for the Wellington military district of £19,364 5s 6d.
