"GERMANY IS BEATEN!"

EVIDENCE MOUNTS UP-DAILY

(Received September 27, 9 a.m.)

NEW YORK, 26th September. The T(*ibune, in a leading, article occupying three, columns, analysing the war, says:*""lt is patent to the least-trained military eye that Germany is beaten. She had her chance, but failed to win. She did not succeed in crushing unprepared and interior foes, who are now superior iv numbers and preparation. The Allies are bleeding her, while they no longer have the smallest doubt as to the outcome, although few expect peace before 1918. Meanwhile, we are looking on Germany in defeat, and the evidences of defeat mount up daily."
