FRENZIED " BULL " ACTIVITY.

All stocks have .an upward tendency." Union Pacific Railway stock reached the record figure of 149J; United States Steel touched 120, owing to reports that the: American mills would be unable to supply European steel orders. Anaconda copper, par value 50, went to 102; the heaviest previous day's trading after the outbreak of the war was on 28th September, 1915, when 1,788,000 shares were handled.
