WANGANUI, This Day. A conference of local bodies between Wanganui and Raeitihi is being held here to-day, to consider the question of ' forming a railway district, under the Local Railways Act, to construct and run. a railway from Wanganui to the Main Trtuik line via, the Waimarino district. A resolution to that effect, moved by the Mayor of Wanganui, is under discussion.
