BROOKLYN HARRIERS

On ■ Saturday the Brooklyn Harriers held their weekly run from Rona Bay, being the guests of the club committee at the residence of Mrs. Jones. A short run of about two miles was held over roads towards the wharf, theneo back towards homo across tho sands. The usual handicap run-in was held over a distance of about 200 yards, and resulted iv n win for C. Willis, with H. Mio second, and G. Dontice third. A short sports meeting was then held, H. Mio winning the high jump with a height of 4ft 10_in, W. Harlison being second. H. Mio also proved himself the best at the hop-stop-and-jump, with C. Dentioe second. The ladies' race for the club championship was won by Miss Trilford, with Miss A. Cairns a good second. During the evening a number of items were given by the Brooklyn Serenadors, and altogether a very enjoyable time was spent.
