CONCERT AND SWIMMING CARNIVAL

To-night a conceit and swimming carnival will be held at the Public Tepid Swimming- Baths, Tasman-street, on a large scale. The tickets from all accounts are selling well, and a full, house is anticipated. The swimming programme should be very interesting, and there should' be lots of fun, with Mr, Lansdowne acting the part of clown. The concert part of the programme is indeed a* fine one, including such artists as Misses Gladys Watkins, Marjorie Jones (soprano), J_nie Petrie (elocutionist), Messrs. Hamilton Hodges, Hugh Wright (baritone), Geo. Peek (humorist) ; accompanist, Mr. Chas. Kerry. During . the evening the Mission Band will render selections.
