LONDON, 31st.August. - The War Office reports: In. East Africa the Germans are retiring iv several •directions towards Mahenge." We occupied Oiongbro on the 26th. Our coastal columns are co-operating with the warships in engaging, the coast defences at Kouguclie, and arc advancing on Dares Salaam. . Large British and Belgian columns are marching on Tabora from the west, north,, and south-west.
