STEADY DEMAND IN CHRISTCHURCH.
(BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 16th August. The local demand for participation in the war loan continues good.
In response to Sir Joseph Ward's telegram public meetings are being convened here to further the interests of the war loan. The local post office reports a steady demand for bonds and i certificates.
