LODGE MEETINGS

The fortnightly meeting of Lodge Coronation, U.A.0.D., was held on Tuesday .evening. Bro. H. Potter presided over a good attendance of members and visitors. The sick bard's reports were received and accounts passed for payment. D.P. Bro. Beer reported on the 'meeting of the Dispensary Board. It was decided to pay an official visit to the Melrose Lodge at its next meeting, when Bro. Hall, P.D.P., will be presented with his P D.P. collar and diploma. After the business of the lodge was concluded the "Ladies' Night" was held, the hall being crowded with members' wives and lady friends. A splendid programme was rendered, the following contributing: Misses Wicks.. Mr. Howitt, .Miss Tomlin, Miss Gahvay, Mr. Duncan, Mr. Ingram, Mrs. Bott. and Mrs. Patience. During the evening refreshments were handed round. At the conclusion of the programme an interesting lecturette was given by Bro. J. Laugh ton,' P'D.P.
