A very successful practice of the songs to be sung at the unfurling of the Railway flag at Petone on Anzac Day was held this morning. The railway employees have been granted half a day's holiday on pay, so that they might all be present. ,Xhe platform for the speakers has already been erecty ed, and the children's stand will be built on Easter Monday. Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. will hold a salo of household furniture at their rooms, 151-3, Ln.'jnbton-aunv. fco-morrow, lat 1.30 p.m.
