MR. EDISON'S ADVICE.

LONDON, 30th March,
Mr. T. A. Edison, Adviser to the Navy Board, told the American Naval Affairs Committee that it would be possible to build a submarine a fortnight and aeroplanes much quicker, and greatly speed up naval construction generally if the types and mechanism were standardised.
