On .Saturday last at Te Aro Ba.hs Mr. W: C Collier examined a class of candidates from Banks's . College for awards of the Royal Life-Saving Society. Following are the results:—Proficiency, Certificates —Charles Athya, Douglas W. Earle,- Alister H. Macandrew,-and Fred B. Chalmers. Hon. teacher's certificate—John . Athya. Another largo class from Banks's College will undergo examination for .proficiency certificates and bronze medallions during this week.
