NATIVE SCHOOL TEACHERS
AFFILIATION QUESTION
(BI TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
AUCKLAND, 20th January
The Native School Teachers' Conference elected Mr. J. M'lntyre (Whangaroa) president for the ensuing year.
The proposal that the association should endeavour to become ■ affiliated with the Public Service Association was negatived. A committee has been setup to discuss with the New Zealand Educational Institute the question of affiliation with that body.
