AUCKLAND, 20th January

The Native School Teachers' Conference elected Mr. J. M'lntyre (Whangaroa) president for the ensuing year.

The proposal that the association should endeavour to become ■ affiliated with the Public Service Association was negatived. A committee has been setup to discuss with the New Zealand Educational Institute the question of affiliation with that body.
