MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Mayor (Mr. F Townsend) and Councillors S. M. Stone, H. Hawthorne, JI. Tracy, and W H. Green were present at the meeting of the Miramar Borough Council last evening.

Con-espondence was received from the City Corporation in regard to the proposed alteration in the tramway timetable, and the matter was held over for consideration by the Tramways Committee.

The use of the Seatoun Park was granted the Wellington and Kilbirnie Churches of Christ Sunday Schools for 29th January; also the Gas Company for its employees' picnic on 12th Feb-

ruaryDiscussion ensued on the subject of sewer connections, and it was decided to take drastic action in the case of persons who had not availed themselves of the drainage system. Tho report of the Borough Engineer (Mr. L. 0. Fox) showed expenses for the two months to have been £166 18s lOd.
