:(BY TELEGRAPH.- -PP.ESS ASSOCIATION.) ■ •' ' NELSON, 20th January. The Hon. G. W. Russell concluded his visit to Nelson to-day.. While here he.conferred with patriotic committees regarding the Sick and Wounded Fund, and with the board of the Hospital, for -which" the late My. T. Cawthorn gave a donation of • £15.000. Mr. -Russell strongly urged the -board to adopt the open air treatment, which had proved to be; successful in the military hospitals at Home, his arguments 'being supported ..by Drs. Valintine and Hay. The Minister's advice will-bo considered by the board in connection with -the r l-Mis.- -.- • ■ Mr. Russell also took part in a public welcome to returned soldiers.
