SOLDIERS' CONCERT

The Methodist Mission Hall at Trentham was crowded on Wednesday evening, the attraction being a very fine concert. Captain-Chaplain Walker presided. The performers' were Misses Stewart, M. and E. Petherick, and Messrs. Courtenay Mohr, Ha-rrop, Kanlon, and Zachariali. Mrs. Tankard played the ac-' eompaninients. Every iteni was encored, and in some cases a third appearance only sufficed. At the conclusion hearty cheers were given the performers, the blisses Potherick (who arranged- the gathering), and-. Mr. Clout a,nd Mr. Odlin (who kindly lent their cars for, the occasion).
