The vessel proceeded via Newcastle, Sydney, Adelaide, and Genoa ft ' ~ PORT AUGUSTA FROM NEW YORK The C. and D liner Port Augusta, from New York, is expected at Melbourne in the course of a few days, having been 41 days out from the American port. KIA ORA DUE WEDNESDAY The Shaw-Savill steamer Kia Ora is. at present at Napier, where she arrived yesterday to continue Homeward loading. She leaves the. Hawkes Bay port on Tuesday next, and is due here the following morning. The Eia Ora is timed to sail for London, via ports, on Friday next THE BLACKBALL COLLIERS The Ngakuta, which arrived, at Greymouth this morning from Wellington, will leave the West Coast port on the return journey with a full cargo of coal in time to arrive here on Monday next. The Ngatoro was loading- at Greymouth yesterday for Lyfrtelton. The Ngahere is to leave Wellington at 4 p.m. to-day for Greymouth in order to load for Dunedin STORM DUE THIS EVENING After a long absence from this port the Storm is due here this 'evening from Lyttelton with a cargo of sheep. She will probably get away to-night for Tarakohe to load cement for the Sonth BARON CAWDOR LEAVES AUCKLAND^ Continuing her journey from New York the Vacuum Oil Company's steamer Baron Cawdor left Auckland at 8 o'clock last evening for Wellington. She is due here to-morrow evening, and will commence discharge of the local portion of her oil, amounting to some 60,000 cases, the following day. She will subsequently visit Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge PERSONAL v Mr. G. H. King has joined the Pateena as third engineer Mr. W A. Gray has relieved Mr. A. H. Prosser as second engineer of the Maori Mr. A. N. Gemmell, of Palmerston North, left Wellington on Thursday last for London as assistant engineer of the Star of India Although no word has been received by the local agents, the scow Magic is expected to arrive here to-day from Nydia Bay with a cargo of timber for Evans Bay. Her subsequent movements have not yet been announced At present undergoing a complete overhaul at Auckland the Union Company's steamer Flora is expected to leave the northern port on the 18th inst. for the Pacific Islands After loading coal at Westport, the Kurow is to sail for Auckland, and will proceed thence to Fiji The steamer Ooma, which arrived at Auckland some time ago from Makatea Island with a cargo of phophates, left the northern port' last evening for Port Chalmers to complete discharge
