"The Girl and the Reporter," an Essanay feature, heads the new bill of faro at Shortt's Theatre in Wilhs-street to-day. It is full of life and interest and thrill from start to finish, and is greatly appreciated.. The 6Upportirg pictures are of high quality. ORGAN RECITAL. The City Organist, Mr. Bernard F. (Page, Tesumed his series of organ recitals at the Town Hall on Saturday night. His programme was made up largely of numbers which visitors to Wellington had requested should be played again. That these were of uniformly high standard is proof that there were very many people who have come to appreciate .the classical recital music. Handel's "Concerto in D Minor," undoubtedly appealed to the audience, and Cesar Franck's "Finale" (Op. 21) was also warmly applauded. The programme further included Rabikoff's "Psychological Poem," the first movement from Beethoven's "Sixth Symphony Pastorale," and, among lighter compositions, Dvorak's "Humoreske."
